While Latvian national men's ice hockey team are about to start 2015 IIHF ice hockey World Championship, the Latvian national under 18 (U18) ice hockey team has saved from relegation in 2015 Ice Hockey U18 World Championship for a second time in history. Previous time when Latvian U18 ice hockey team saved from relegation was in 2012 ice hockey U18 World Championship which isn't so long ago and it allows us to compare the common factors and the differences between these two ice hockey U18 World Championships (U18 Wch).
There has been some changes in my personal trading card collection and some of the cards are gone:
Newest addition to The most wanted card list:
The terror and war-torn Latvia experienced many changes in the first half of 20th century. Half of the Latvia’s population was destroyed by wars and repressions and those people who had a chance to fled abroad they fled and thousands Latvians were scattered all over the world.
Don't worry this story will not be about the history of Latvia, but this story will be about two Latvians which each were born in the other side of the world, but they had more common than different. The story about meeting of two Latvians which probably did not foresee about each other and this special moment.
While the NHL teams are competing for last playoff spots and Latvia men’s national ice hockey team are preparing for the 2015 IIHF world championship my hard work season has started and time for writing hockey articles and summarize statistics are decreasing. But somewhere in the middle has ended Latvian hockey league. And no, Ogre isn't some mythical green creature and this article won't be about some act of cannibalism.
